Low-resistivity backfill for earth electrodes. Bansal Earthron's Earth Enhancing Back Fill Compound is packed around the electrode in place of ordinary excavated soil, holding moisture and conducting current so the pit reaches — and keeps — a low earth resistance value.

Plain backfill (sieved excavated soil, sand, salt, coke breeze, cinders or ash) either dries out, corrodes the electrode, or both. Our compound is chemically stable, non-corrosive to copper and steel electrodes, and holds its conductivity through repeated wet-dry cycles.

Bansal Earthron Earth Enhancing Back Fill Compound is a ready-to-use powder that replaces the sieved excavated soil traditionally packed around an earth electrode. It is designed for direct contact with copper-bonded rods, GI pipes, and plate electrodes without accelerating corrosion.

Stones & DebrisLarge stones or plastic debris in raw excavated soil leave air gaps around the electrode and raise resistance.
Salt & Coke BreezeTraditional fillers like salt, coke breeze, cinders and ash are acidic or corrosive and shorten electrode life.
Seasonal DryingOrdinary soil loses conductivity as it dries; the compound is formulated to retain moisture and hold resistance stable.
